Here are some qualities to look for in a lawyer that could help you pick the right one for your business.

• Understanding.  You need a lawyer who is willing to learn about and understand your business goals. This is the person who is going to help you through difficult and stressful situations, and he or she will need to make sure that you are doing everything correctly and legally, while sympathizing.
• Affordability with your situation. The truth is that no lawyer is inexpensive. But lawyer fees vary widely, so look for someone whose fees you are comfortable with. He or she should have clear bills and should be able to give you reasonable estimates. Be careful not to choose a lawyer based solely on their hourly rate. You will probably find that the best lawyer for you isn’t the one with the cheapest hourly rate.
